Before launching the site in 2020, Joe worked for 16 years in TV news for ABC and Fox affiliates in Los Angeles, California, Portland, Oregon, and Pensacola, Florida. During his career in broadcasting, Joe worked as a producer, writer, video editor, anchor, and investigative reporter. He has been nominated for three Emmy awards including a 2019 nomination for investigative reporting.
